Nazareth Violence Escalates: Man Critically Injured After Three Murders

A man in his 30s was critically injured in Nazareth on Tuesday evening following a shooting incident, just a day after three people were murdered in the city. The latest victim was evacuated to the Italian Hospital in serious condition after receiving advanced resuscitation efforts.

The violence in Nazareth, the largest Arab city in Israel, has residents fearful of further escalation, with warnings that recent murders could incite revenge killings. The motive for the latest shooting is believed to be criminal, and police have launched a search for suspects.

On Monday, three young individuals were killed in Nazareth: Noor Nafaa (32) and Noor Hallu (20) were shot while in a vehicle. Shortly after, Mustafa Badra (27) was killed at his home by assailants who arrived in a car. Badra attempted to escape by jumping from a height, sustaining injuries before being fatally shot.

Residents expressed deep distress and fear, with one stating, "Until when will we continue to lose our children?" Another resident warned, "Crime knows no borders, and if it is not stopped today, tomorrow it could reach Jewish society as well." They emphasized that personal security is a right for all citizens, regardless of ethnicity, and that organized crime will spread if not addressed at its root.

Since the beginning of the year, 168 people have been murdered within the Arab community in Israel. Residents are demanding that the state act decisively to restore security and address the escalating violence, which they fear is becoming normalized.
