Double Shooting in Nazareth Leaves Two Men Dead
Two men, both around 30 years old, were shot and killed inside a vehicle in Nazareth on Wednesday evening. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom) were called to the scene at 7:04 PM and pronounced both victims dead. Paramedics described finding the men unconscious with severe penetrating wounds, showing no signs of life.
The police have launched an investigation into the shooting, and the identities of the victims are not yet known. Authorities are treating the incident as a likely criminal act. A vehicle found burning not far from the crime scene is suspected to belong to the perpetrators.
"The Israel Police has opened an investigation into a shooting incident targeting a vehicle in the city of Nazareth, as a result of which two men, whose identities are not yet known, were pronounced dead," a police statement said. "Officers were dispatched to the scene, began searches for suspects in the shooting, and opened an investigation into the circumstances of the case. The background to the incident is criminal."
