Iran Warns US of Major Retaliation if IDF Strikes Hezbollah Base in Lebanon
Iran has conveyed a stern warning to the United States, stating that a broad Israeli military operation against the underground complex on the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon would trigger a significant Iranian response. According to regional sources, the fortified underground facility on the ridge is occupied by Hezbollah operatives and at least 12 members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, including two senior officers. However, Israeli security officials have stated that they are unaware of any Iranian military presence in the area. The Ali Taher ridge is a strategically vital area in southeastern Lebanon, where Hezbollah has established an underground command center and weapons depots.
