Ben Gvir Demands Likud Formalize Tali Gottlieb's Move to Otzma Yehudit

Otzma Yehudit party chairman Itamar Ben Gvir has issued an ultimatum to senior Likud officials, stating that if they wish to transfer MK Tali Gottlieb to his party, they must immediately initiate the necessary procedures. Ben Gvir warned that otherwise, the window of opportunity would close, and he would proceed with finalizing his party's candidate list.

The ultimatum comes after Likud failed to take any concrete steps to advance the legal and technical processes required for Gottlieb's transfer, despite media reports suggesting otherwise. Ben Gvir indicated that various initiatives to facilitate the move within Likud have been stalled.

Ben Gvir's message implies that Likud's inaction, coupled with what he described as "empty briefings to the media," has led him to believe the party is not genuinely committed to the transfer. He stressed the urgency, stating that delaying further would make it too late to integrate Gottlieb into Otzma Yehudit's electoral slate.
