Gett Launches Minibus and Bus Booking Service from Tel Aviv Airport with Pre-Booking

Gett has introduced a new service allowing customers to book larger vehicles such as minibuses and buses, including options for groups traveling from Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport. This service, common in international ride apps but new to Israel, requires bookings to be made at least 12 hours in advance, unlike immediate taxi orders. Prices are displayed upfront and vary based on distance, trip duration, and stops. Unlike regulated taxi fares, Gett sets its own rates for these larger vehicles and aims to offer prices about 10% below market rates. For example, a 13-seat vehicle from Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion Airport costs approximately 630 shekels, a 19-seat vehicle 870 shekels, and a bus to Jerusalem 1,775 shekels, with final prices confirmed at booking.

During the launch period, customers receive a 100-shekel discount coupon. The service operates in partnership with Rideeazy, an Electra Afikim subsidiary that aggregates dozens of transportation providers nationwide. Gett plans to expand its offerings with additional services such as electric scooter and bike rentals and shared taxi rides, which could reduce fares by up to 50% under existing but underused regulations.

Gett CEO Mark On emphasized that this expansion marks a new chapter for the company, aiming to meet evolving user needs while maintaining a simple and reliable user experience. He confirmed that more transportation solutions and features will be added to the platform in the coming months.
