Yair Netanyahu Urges Winter List Candidates to Unite Right-Wing Votes to Avoid Splitting

Following the official announcement of the new party "Amcha Israel" and its Knesset candidates, Yair Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, addressed the candidates directly on social media. He warned them against splitting the right-wing vote, which he argued would only benefit the left-wing camp. Yair Netanyahu outlined three possible outcomes if the candidates run independently without uniting with Bezalel Smotrich's faction: failing to pass the electoral threshold and wasting right-wing votes, passing the threshold but causing Smotrich to fall below it, or both failing to pass the threshold, all of which would lead to the formation of a government led by Benny Gantz, Yair Golan, and Mansour Abbas. He emphasized that mathematically, no other scenario exists and compared the potential damage to the historical example of the "Resurrection Party" that helped bring about the Rabin government and the Oslo Accords.

Earlier, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself criticized the new party led by Winter, stating he had no personal issue with him but framed it as a national problem. He warned that if Winter's party passes the threshold, it could cause other right-wing parties to lose seats. Netanyahu called on Winter, Avi Maoz, and Moshe Feiglin to take responsibility for the right-wing bloc's fate, urging them to either withdraw or unite with existing parties to protect the national camp and the State of Israel.
