Netanyahu Urges Winter, Maoz, and Feiglin to Unite or Withdraw from Right-Wing Politics

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sharply criticized Ofir Winter during a meeting of the Binyamin Council on Tuesday, urging him to unite with Moshe Feiglin and Avi Maoz or withdraw from the political arena. Netanyahu expressed concern that if Winter passes the electoral threshold, he could split the right-wing vote and harm existing parties. Addressing Winter, Maoz, and Feiglin, Netanyahu emphasized their responsibility for the fate of the right-wing bloc, stating, "If you care about the Land of Israel and the people of Israel, this is what you must do."

On the same day, Ofir Winter officially launched a new political party called "Your People Israel," marking his entry into politics after a period of consideration. The party's top candidates include activist Yosef Hadad and journalist Natali Shem Tov, alongside lawyer Eran Ben Ari, Leli Deri, David Ben Zion, Aviv Ezra, and Sigal Kraulnik. Winter outlined the party's guiding principles, affirming its clear alignment with the right-wing camp and its goal to form a broad right-wing government with as many Zionist partners as possible.

Yosef Hadad, placed second on the list, announced plans to reestablish the Ministry of Public Diplomacy as a major government body with a substantial budget, emphasizing its integral role in Israel's security. Hadad also declared his intention to become the first Arab member of the political-security cabinet, aiming to bring a proud Israeli Arab perspective to decision-making. He stated that alongside Winter as the next defense minister, they would challenge the system from within to rebuild and secure Israel's future.
