IDF Chief Vows Continued Hunt for October 7 Attackers in Gaza

Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir conducted an operational tour in the Gaza Strip alongside Southern Command Chief Major General Yaniv Asor, Gaza Division Commander Brigadier General Liron Batito, and other brigade and battalion commanders. During the visit, Zamir emphasized that the pursuit of militants involved in the October 7 attacks remains ongoing, stating that all participants will be relentlessly hunted and eliminated. He described this mission as a top priority for the entire IDF command.

Zamir further asserted that the IDF is prepared and vigilant across all fronts, particularly along the Gaza and Lebanon borders, to prevent enemy forces from regaining strength. He highlighted the IDF's commitment to systematically weakening adversaries through offensive operations. Specifically regarding Gaza, Zamir reiterated that Israel will not relent in its goal to disarm Hamas and demilitarize the Strip.
