18-Year-Old Arrested for Violent Attack on Bus Driver in Modiin Illit

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violently attacking a bus driver in Modiin Illit last week. According to police and footage from the bus camera, the suspect broke through the protective partition and punched the driver multiple times. After the assault, he kicked the driver and fled the scene. The suspect surrendered to the Bnei Brak police yesterday and was subsequently taken into custody. His detention has been extended by three days as the investigation continues.
