IDF Captures Suspect in Jordan Valley Stabbing After Eight-Hour Manhunt

After an approximately eight-hour manhunt, Israeli special forces from the Duvdevan Unit apprehended the suspect responsible for a stabbing attack in the Jordan Valley village of Ouja. The attacker stabbed Elhanan Hanania, a 24-year-old career soldier, causing moderate injuries. Hanania was attacked while shopping at a local store in the area. Following the assault, the suspect fled the scene but was captured alive thanks to a joint intelligence operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security service. Security forces immediately launched extensive searches, set up roadblocks, and confiscated surveillance footage to trace the suspect's escape route. The IDF stated that the arrest was made possible through intelligence guidance and special operational means. The suspect has been transferred for further interrogation by security agencies.
