Northern Israeli Lawyer Arrested for Large-Scale Hard Drug Trafficking
The Haifa District Police arrested a lawyer from the Krayot area in northern Israel on suspicion of possessing and trafficking large quantities of hard drugs, including substances identified as "crystal" and "doctor." The arrest followed an operational raid on the suspect's home, where police seized several dozen grams of suspected narcotics. The suspect was taken to the Zevulun police station for questioning and initially detained. His detention was extended multiple times during the ongoing investigation. After a recent court hearing, the judge ordered his release to house arrest under restrictive conditions. The police spokesperson stated that the investigation is still active and that they intend to file formal charges against the lawyer once it concludes.
