Lawyer Arrested for Large-Scale Hard Drug Possession in Northern Israel

A lawyer from the Krayot area was arrested at his home on suspicion of possessing a large quantity of hard drugs. The investigation by the Haifa District police began about a week ago, during which officers raided his apartment and seized suspected crystal methamphetamine. The lawyer was detained during the operation, interrogated at the Zevulun police station, and remanded in custody. His detention was extended multiple times as the investigation progressed, but he has now been released to house arrest. The police investigation continues, with plans to file formal charges against him upon its conclusion.
