Grenade Thrown at Under-Construction Japnika Branch in Hadera Amid Crime Family Feud

Early Sunday morning, a grenade was thrown at a Japnika chain branch under construction in Hadera. No injuries were reported. Police confirmed the incident is linked to ongoing criminal disputes, specifically between the Mosli and Jarushi crime families. Officers from the Hadera station and bomb squad arrived at the scene to investigate and collect evidence.

This attack is part of a series targeting Japnika branches over the past month, with nine other locations attacked amid the feud. The affected branches are franchised by the Jarushi family. Previous incidents include damage to branches in Herzliya, Afula, and Netanya, an attempted arson in Givatayim that failed, a bomb thrown at a Ramat Gan branch, and a grenade attack on a branch in Kiryat Ono.

Police continue to investigate the string of attacks as part of the broader violent conflict between the two crime families.
