Grenade Thrown at New Japnika Branch in Hadera Amid Nationwide Attacks

In the early hours of Sunday, a grenade was thrown at a Japnika branch under construction in Hadera. The store had not yet opened, and no injuries were reported. Police from the Hadera station arrived at the scene to collect evidence, noting that no prior threats against the business owners in Hadera were known. This incident follows a series of attacks over the past three weeks targeting Japnika branches across Israel, including locations in Afula, Netanya, Kiryat Ono, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, and Herzliya. These attacks involved grenade launches, explosive devices, shootings, and arson attempts. Authorities suspect the violence stems from a feud between the Mosli and Jarushi crime families, with one theory suggesting the attacks targeted Japnika due to its ownership by businessman Barak Abramov. Police are currently investigating whether the Hadera attack is connected to this ongoing series of incidents.
