Three Arrested for Grenade Attack on Japenica Restaurant Branch

Police have arrested three suspects in connection with a grenade attack on a Japenica restaurant branch in Rosh Pinna in July. The suspects, two from northern Israel and one from the center, were apprehended on Monday and are being questioned by the Kinneret District's crime-fighting unit. Authorities will seek to extend their detention.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of July 15, when a fragmentation grenade was thrown at the Rosh Pinna branch. Responding officers collected evidence, initiating an investigation that culminated in the arrests.

This attack is part of a series of incidents targeting Japenica branches across Israel. These include shootings, grenade throws, and pipe bomb explosions at various locations. The ongoing violence is reportedly linked to a feud between the Musli and Jarushi crime families.

Japenica's branches are owned by businessman Barak Abramov, who also owns the Beitar Jerusalem soccer club. Abramov was formerly associated with the Musli brothers and is currently linked to the Jarushi family.
