Grenade Attack Targets Another Japnika Branch Owned by Barak Abramov in Hadera

Barak Abramov, owner of the Japnika chain, faced another violent attack as a grenade was thrown at a Japnika branch under construction in Hadera on August 2, 2026. This attack follows a series of assaults on Japnika branches across Israel, including locations in Afula, Netanya, Kiryat Ono, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, and Herzliya, which involved grenades, explosives, shootings, and arson attempts. Authorities suspect these attacks stem from a criminal feud between the Motsli and Jarushi families. The current investigation is examining whether the Hadera grenade attack is directly linked to this ongoing criminal conflict. Meanwhile, Barak Abramov is also managing his football club, Beitar Jerusalem, which recently started the 2026/27 season.
