Severe Heat Wave Hits Israel with Temperatures Reaching Up to 46.5°C

A severe heat wave is currently affecting Israel, with many inland areas experiencing temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius and above. In Jerusalem, the temperature reached 36 degrees Celsius, while in the Judean lowlands it climbed to 40 degrees. Northern border areas such as Dafna, the Hula Valley, Beit She'an, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, the Arava, and Eilat all recorded temperatures of 40 degrees or higher. Around the Sea of Galilee, temperatures reached between 42 and 43 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature recorded today was approximately 45 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley. Forecasts indicate that temperatures will continue to rise tomorrow, potentially reaching around 45 degrees near the Sea of Galilee and between 46 and 46.5 degrees in the Jordan Valley.
