Israeli Man Arrested for Throwing Stone and Threatening Channel 12 News Staff

Abraham Hadi, a 40-year-old resident of Ramat Gan, was arrested on suspicion of throwing a stone at the Channel 12 news building in Tel Aviv and leaving a threatening letter at the scene. The letter warned that "next time the stone will be aimed at one of your heads" and stated "someone will die eventually." The Tel Aviv District Court extended his detention until Monday, August 3, as the investigation continues.

Hadi was apprehended by the Central Unit of the Tel Aviv District Police on charges of threats and property damage. Authorities are also investigating whether he is connected to similar recent incidents involving other media outlets, including door smashing and threatening graffiti. Hadi is known to the police from previous cases, including graffiti vandalism near Channel 13 offices and public buildings in Tel Aviv, as well as a separate assault case at a law firm in Bnei Brak.

The police confirmed that following his arrest, a court hearing was held this morning, resulting in the extension of his custody while inquiries proceed. The investigation aims to clarify his involvement in a series of attacks targeting media organizations in recent weeks.
