Peace Council Confirms Hamas Will Have No Governing Role in Gaza After Agreement Implementation
The Peace Council announced that discussions regarding the implementation of the agreement are ongoing and progressing. The roadmap includes the complete dismantling of all weapons, both heavy and light, without exception. This also involves the destruction of tunnels, weapons caches, and facilities used for manufacturing arms. Upon completion of this process, Hamas will hold no governing role in Gaza, neither openly nor covertly. The Gaza Management Committee will assume full authority based on the principle of one authority, one law, and one weapon. The Council emphasized that each step taken by one party enables the subsequent step by the other.
