Benjamin Friedrich Indicted for Murder of Rabbi Amos Guetta in Netanya
The prosecution has filed an indictment against Benjamin Friedrich, 36, at the Central District Court in Lod, charging him with intentional murder under aggravating circumstances for the killing of Rabbi Amos Guetta in Netanya on July 1. According to the indictment, Friedrich arrived at the rabbi's yeshiva home concealing a knife under his clothes, claiming he wanted to pray alongside the rabbi. Once inside the room, he murmured a prayer, approached the rabbi's bed, and stabbed him forcefully. The rabbi's assistant, who noticed the attack, struggled with Friedrich and sustained minor injuries. Friedrich is also charged with aggravated assault and illegal possession of a knife.
