Central District Prosecutor Files Murder Charges Against Suspect in Rabbi Amos Guetta Killing
The Central District Prosecutor's Office is set to file an indictment today against a 36-year-old suspect accused of murdering Rabbi Amos Guetta in Netanya on July 1. The indictment will charge the suspect with murder under aggravating circumstances along with additional offenses. According to the investigation, the suspect arrived at the rabbi's home early in the morning, requested to pray beside his bed, and after receiving permission to enter the rabbi's room, drew a knife and stabbed him four times while he was lying in bed. The rabbi's assistant, who attempted to subdue the suspect, sustained a minor hand injury during the struggle. The suspect has confessed to the crime.
