Suspect in Rabbi Amos Guetta Murder Breaks Silence During Investigation in Netanya

Two weeks after the shocking murder of Rabbi Amos Guetta in Netanya, a significant development occurred in the investigation. According to i24NEWS, the suspect, who had maintained complete silence during interrogations, began cooperating with investigators for the first time. Until now, the suspect had refused to speak, offering no account and behaving as if mute, responding only with looks and gestures toward the sky.

Investigators from the Sharon YALP unit in the Central District monitored the suspect’s behavior both inside and outside the interrogation room. During one instance, when offered food and drink, the suspect spoke freely without realizing he was being recorded. On another occasion, he refused water and instead requested a cola aloud. After investigators confronted him with this recorded evidence, the suspect started speaking during the interrogation.
