Indictment Filed Against Suspect in Rabbi Amos Guetta Murder in Netanya
An indictment is set to be filed today against the suspect accused of murdering Rabbi Amos Guetta in Netanya. According to the investigation, the suspect arrived at Rabbi Guetta's home, requested to pray beside his bed, and after gaining access, stabbed the rabbi four times while he was lying in bed. The suspect fled immediately after the attack but was quickly located and arrested. The knife believed to have been used in the murder was found at the scene. The Central District Prosecutor's Office will charge the suspect with aggravated murder and additional offenses. Rabbi Amos Guetta, aged 75, was the head of the "Rabbi Yitzchak Hai Taib" yeshiva in Netanya and a well-known city rabbi. He was murdered earlier this month.
