Truck Driver Dies in Fiery Crash on Israel's Highway 4

A fatal road accident occurred on Thursday on Highway 4 in Israel involving a collision between a truck and a private vehicle. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA), including paramedic Anna Minis and emergency medical technicians Simcha Hassid and Orin Barsi, reported that the truck driver was trapped inside the vehicle with severe injuries and no signs of life. Despite medical efforts at the scene, the driver was pronounced dead. Firefighters from the Rishon Lezion station arrived promptly, extinguished the truck fire, and assisted in the rescue operation before the death was confirmed. The incident adds to a recent surge in serious and deadly traffic accidents across Israel, which have involved drivers, motorcyclists, and pedestrians in recent weeks.
