Truck Driver Killed in Fiery Crash on Highway 4; Two Motorcyclists Seriously Injured in Separate Accidents
A truck driver died overnight in a collision with a private vehicle on Highway 4 near Holot. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics arrived to find the driver trapped inside the truck, which had caught fire. Despite medical efforts, paramedics declared him dead at the scene due to severe injuries. Paramedic Anna Minis and MDA medics Simcha Hassid and Orin Bersi described the scene as very difficult, noting the driver showed no signs of life.
In Bat Yam, a man in his 30s suffered severe injuries after being hit by a bus while riding a motorcycle. MDA teams provided emergency treatment including bleeding control and medication before transporting him to Ichilov Hospital in serious but stable condition. Paramedic Ahmad Sarhan and medic Noam Berzani reported the motorcyclist had multiple severe injuries.
Another motorcycle accident occurred in Netanya, where a 20-year-old rider sustained a serious head injury. MDA medics Benjamin Magoz and Yosef Friedman treated him at the scene and took him to Laniado Hospital. The young man was unconscious and in serious but stable condition upon arrival.
