One Killed in Deadly Truck-Car Collision on Negev Road 80

A fatal traffic accident occurred overnight on Road 80 in the Negev, near Tel Arad, when a truck collided with a private vehicle. A man in his 50s was killed at the scene, while two others sustained serious and moderate injuries and were taken to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. Emergency teams, including firefighters and Magen David Adom paramedics, conducted rescue operations using specialized equipment to extricate the victims.

The road was temporarily closed due to the accident. Paramedics on site described the victim as unconscious and without vital signs, suffering severe trauma. This incident adds to a troubling week on Israeli roads, with six fatalities reported since the start of the week.
