Fire Breaks Out at Strauss and Tafugan Plants in Sderot Amid Chemical Leak Fears

A fire erupted on Monday at two industrial sites, Strauss and Tafugan factories, located in the Sha'ar HaNegev industrial zone in Sderot. Firefighters responded promptly to reports of two separate fire outbreaks and are actively working to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.

So far, there have been no reported injuries. Multiple firefighting units are on site, with additional teams en route to assist. Due to concerns about a potential chemical leak, residents of the nearby Music neighborhood have been advised to stay indoors and keep their windows closed as a precautionary measure.
