Strauss Assures No Supply Disruptions After Fire Near Sderot Factory

A fire broke out recently in the Sha'ar HaNegev industrial zone near Sderot, where many factories and warehouses operate. The blaze sparked rumors that Strauss, one of Israel's largest food brands, had been affected. However, Strauss clarified that the fire occurred in a warehouse complex adjacent to their salty snacks warehouse, which was evacuated as a precaution with no injuries reported. The company emphasized that no hazardous materials were stored there.

Strauss confirmed that their salty snacks factory is located far from the fire site and was not damaged. Production continues as usual, and the company does not anticipate any product shortages or supply disruptions. Strauss is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with firefighting and rescue teams.

The company stressed that contrary to circulating reports, the fire did not occur inside any Strauss factory, and operations remain uninterrupted. The precautionary evacuation of the nearby warehouse was a safety measure only, ensuring no harm to personnel or production capabilities.
