Massive Fire Erupts at Strauss and Tepogen Factories in Sderot Industrial Zone
A large fire broke out simultaneously at two factories, Strauss and Tepogen, located in the industrial area of Sderot, southern Israel. The blaze caused thick black smoke visible across the surrounding region and engulfed several sheds and warehouses. Firefighters from the Southern Fire and Rescue Services arrived at the scene and are actively working to contain the fire, prevent its spread, and protect nearby buildings. As of now, there have been no reports of injuries. Additional firefighting units are en route to assist in controlling the incident.
Separately, a notable unrelated event was mentioned regarding the complete destruction by fire of the grave of the 'Baal HaTanya' in Ukraine, but this is distinct from the Sderot fire incident. The primary focus remains on the ongoing efforts to manage the industrial fire in Sderot.
