IDF Prepares Wide-Scale Operation in West Bank Following Deadly Terror Attack
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are preparing for an extensive operational campaign in the West Bank after a deadly terror attack near the village of Tel in the Samaria region. In response to the attack, the military has imposed a lockdown on exits from the area and reinforced troop deployments across the sector.
During the night, IDF forces conducted arrests of suspects involved in incitement and terror activities, interrogated detainees, and discovered weapons caches. Over the past week, the IDF has detained more than 80 suspects throughout Judea and Samaria, including Hamas affiliates, stone throwers, Molotov cocktail throwers, and militants involved with explosives.
The operational preparations were documented by Central Command Chief Major General Avi Blot and West Bank Division Commander Brigadier General Kobi Heller during a situational assessment at the scene. The IDF's increased presence and restrictions aim to prevent further attacks and dismantle terror networks in the region.
