Israeli Police Arrest Two More Suspects in Benyahu Raz Murder Case in Jerusalem

Israeli police announced the arrest of two additional suspects in the murder investigation of Benyahu Raz in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem. The new detainees include a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man from Elad. Both are expected to appear in the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court for an extension of their detention as the investigation continues intensively using all available means.

Earlier, police released the details and photo of the main suspect, 17-year-old Avivor Sasson from Jerusalem, who is wanted for questioning in connection with Raz's murder at an Airbnb apartment. Sasson was seen fleeing the crime scene wearing a white shirt and black pants. His height is approximately 1.70 meters, with dark eyes and short black hair.

A court hearing was held to extend the detention of three other female suspects: Linor Sasson (50) from Jerusalem, Shilat Huta (19) from Beersheba, and Agam Tzarfati (19), a soldier from Jerusalem and Raz's ex-partner who allegedly ordered the murder. Judge Moria Cherka extended their detention by eight days, citing the need to investigate additional suspects.

Police stated that the murder was planned at Linor Sasson's home, and she allegedly drove the killers to the apartment in Nahalat. She is suspected of being in a car below the apartment during the murder with another suspect and later receiving the killers by car. Authorities say the suspicion of her involvement in obstructing the investigation has strengthened, and they requested to extend her detention by an additional 15 days.
