Israeli Police Seek Public Help to Locate Suspect in Jerusalem Murder Case

The Israeli police issued an unusual public appeal on Wednesday to help locate 17-year-old Abiyor Sasson, a Jerusalem resident, suspected of involvement in the murder of Beniya Razi in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem. Sasson was seen fleeing the crime scene about two weeks ago, wearing a white shirt and black pants. He is approximately 1.70 meters tall, with dark eyes and short black hair. Authorities warned that aiding the suspect could lead to up to three years in prison for "assistance after the fact." The police urged anyone with information about Sasson's whereabouts or any relevant details to contact the Israeli police emergency number 100.

The murder occurred in a rented apartment on Shirizli Street in Nahalat, where 19-year-old Shalom Razi from Givat Ze'ev was fatally stabbed. The incident reportedly began with an argument that escalated into a violent fight, during which Razi was stabbed in the abdomen and another young man was injured in the hand. Medical teams performed prolonged resuscitation efforts and transported Razi to Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

So far, six suspects have been arrested in connection with the case, five of whom are teenagers. Earlier on Wednesday, the court extended the detention of three female suspects for an additional week and a half at the police's request, as the investigation continues.
