Israeli Police Arrest Additional Suspect in Jerusalem Murder Case

Israeli police announced the arrest of an 18-year-old resident of Elad suspected of involvement in the murder of Benyahu Razi in a short-term rental apartment in Jerusalem. The suspect is set to appear for an extension of his detention. This follows the arrest of a 16-year-old girl, a relative of the main suspect, 17-year-old Abior Sasson, who remains at large. Authorities believe the girl assisted in providing a "cover" for the crime.

The police continue an intensive investigation through the Crime Fighting Unit in the Zion area, employing all available resources to solve the murder. In an unusual move, the police released a photo and details of Sasson, despite his minor status, after obtaining multiple approvals. Sasson is believed to be hiding primitively, avoiding phone contact, and is the son of Linor Sasson, who allegedly linked the female suspects to the perpetrators.

According to police, Sasson was seen fleeing the crime scene wearing a white shirt and black pants. He is approximately 1.70 meters tall, with dark eyes and short black hair. Authorities warned that aiding the suspect constitutes "aiding after the fact," punishable by up to three years in prison.
