Sister of Suspect in Jerusalem Murder Linked to Criminal Network in Ongoing Investigation

Israeli police have advanced their investigation into the murder of Benyahu Razi in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem, focusing on the role of Shilat Huta's sister. Authorities suspect she connected Huta to an unidentified criminal figure who allegedly sent a group of minors to attack Razi after two young women showed signs of injury. Police are seeking to extend the detention of suspects Agam Tzarfati, Linor Sasson, and Shilat Huta, all implicated in the killing that occurred about ten days ago. Meanwhile, the police continue searching for a minor believed to have been present at the crime scene.

Investigators claim that Tzarfati and Huta were aware of the plan and intent to kill Razi. It is alleged that Huta accompanied the minors to the apartment where the murder took place and broadcast the killing via video call to Tzarfati, who remained in a car. Police have a screenshot from that call, which they say was taken by Tzarfati. During a previous detention extension hearing, police described Huta as an active participant in the event and presented video evidence to support her involvement.

Huta denies the accusations, stating she did not know the perpetrators and did not bring them to the apartment. Her lawyer, Amit Weitzman, said she was caught up in the violence but did not initiate the murder nor know the attackers. The apartment where the murder occurred was rented by Tzarfati and Huta. Police say a history of violence between Razi and Tzarfati preceded the incident, with recent disputes culminating in attacks on the two suspects, which allegedly motivated their decision to harm Razi and his friend.

Police assert that the evidence increasingly supports the theory that Tzarfati and Huta orchestrated the murder as revenge for prior violence they claimed to have suffered from Razi and his companion.
