15-Year-Old Critically Wounded in Shooting Near Nazareth Amid Rising Violence

A 15-year-old boy was critically injured in a shooting incident on Tuesday evening in Yafia, near Nazareth. Emergency medical technician Ahmad Azaiza reported that the boy was conscious but suffered significant penetrating wounds. He received initial medical treatment and was transported by Magen David Adom ambulance to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

Simultaneously, in Jerusalem, a man in his 20s from East Jerusalem was arrested on suspicion of stabbing another young man and fleeing the scene. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of both incidents, with a preliminary indication of criminal motives.

The day before, an 8-year-old girl was wounded by gunfire near Deir Hanna in the Galilee. She was initially in serious condition but later stabilized to moderate condition after receiving emergency care and being taken to Poriya Hospital in Tiberias. Paramedics Eyad Suleiman and Ali Shhada described her injuries as significant and penetrating.

Last month, a 43-year-old man from Arraba, Samid Jaja, was indicted for the reckless murder of his 9-year-old daughter, Laila. The indictment followed a shooting at his home in Wadi Ara during a family dispute involving children, which tragically resulted in his daughter's death. Charges include reckless murder, weapons offenses, firing in a residential area, threats, and obstruction of justice.

The police continue to conduct searches and investigations to apprehend suspects and clarify the motives behind these violent events.
