Eight-Year-Old Girl Shot in Northern Israel, Condition Serious but Stable
An eight-year-old girl was shot and seriously wounded on Monday evening in the northern Israeli town of Deir Hanna. Emergency medical teams arrived at the scene and provided initial treatment before transporting her to Poriya Medical Center near Tiberias. The girl was conscious upon arrival but suffered significant penetrating injuries to her chest and arm.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident, which is believed to have a criminal background. Authorities are currently searching for suspects involved in the shooting. Eyewitnesses told N12 that unknown assailants opened fire at a man who fled the scene, and the girl was hit by two bullets during the incident.
Magen David Adom paramedics Eyad Suleiman and Ali Shahada reported that the girl was brought to the clinic conscious but with serious injuries. She was evacuated by ambulance in a serious but stable condition. The police continue their efforts to locate those responsible for the shooting.
