Eight-Year-Old Girl Shot in Northern Israel, Condition Serious

An eight-year-old girl was shot and seriously wounded on Monday evening in the northern Israeli town of Deir Hanna. Emergency medical teams arrived at the scene and provided initial treatment before transporting her to Poriya Medical Center near Tiberias. The girl was conscious upon arrival at the clinic but suffered significant penetrating injuries to her chest and hand. Her condition is currently described as serious but stable.

The police have launched an investigation into the shooting, which is believed to have a criminal background. Officers are actively searching for suspects involved in the incident. According to eyewitnesses, unknown assailants opened fire at a man who fled the scene, and the girl was hit by two bullets during the shooting.

Magen David Adom paramedics Eyad Suleiman and Ali Shhada reported that the girl was brought to the clinic conscious but with severe wounds. The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack and are conducting searches to apprehend those responsible.
