17-Year-Old Dies in Fatal Crash Involving Truck and Two Cars Near Kiryat Gat

A 17-year-old boy was killed in a deadly traffic accident on Highway 6 near the Kiryat Gat interchange during the night between Sunday and Monday. The collision involved a truck and two private vehicles traveling northbound. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived shortly before midnight and found the victims trapped inside the vehicles. Despite advanced resuscitation efforts, the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim, a 27-year-old man, sustained moderate injuries to his limbs and was evacuated to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot for further treatment.

Paramedics Roee Hazi, Meir Avivi, and Gilad Hajbi described providing medical care while extricating the victims from the wreckage. The Israel Police launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash. Officers from the Kiryat Gat station and traffic accident investigators from the Lachish district collected evidence at the scene and managed traffic flow following the incident.
