17-Year-Old Dies in Truck Collision on Highway 6 Near Kiryat Gat

A fatal traffic accident occurred on Highway 6 northbound near the Kiryat Gat interchange involving a truck and two other vehicles. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene and found victims trapped inside the vehicles. They performed rescue operations and advanced resuscitation efforts on a 17-year-old boy, who was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim, a 27-year-old man, was evacuated to Kaplan Medical Center in moderate condition with limb injuries. Paramedics Roee Chazi, Meir Avivi, and Gilad Hajbi reported that despite their immediate medical intervention during the rescue, they could not save the teenager. The incident remains under investigation.
