Israeli Media Personality Yael Shevach Loses Home in Gilad Farm Fire

Israeli media figure Yael Shevach revealed after Shabbat that her home was completely destroyed in a fire at Gilad Farm. Shevach, widow of Rabbi Raziel Shevach who was killed in a shooting attack near Gilad Farm, shared on social media: "There was a fire. A fire. The house is no longer. We are okay. Thank you all for your concern. I have nothing to say. And I have no home."

The fire consumed 13 homes, a garage, and a wood storage facility in the settlement. Dozens of firefighting teams, firefighting aircraft, and IDF forces worked throughout the day to control the blaze. Two firefighters were moderately injured, and one local resident sustained minor injuries.

The incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by residents in the Gilad Farm area, which has been a site of previous violence and tension. The community and emergency services continue to respond to the aftermath of the fire.
