90-Year-Old Left-Wing Activist Detained for Running Over Two Settlers in Gush Etzion

A 90-year-old left-wing activist was detained on Friday for allegedly running over two settlers at Havat Tomer near the Gush Etzion junction, causing them minor injuries. Police received a report of a vehicle hitting a woman at the site, prompting officers from the Etzion station in the Judea and Samaria district to respond.

Initial investigations revealed that the Israeli driver arrived at the location and began filming with a camera. A verbal altercation ensued between him and a local teenage resident. The suspect then got into his vehicle and started driving, lightly hitting the teenager, who did not require medical treatment.

Subsequently, a local woman approached the vehicle to question the suspect's actions. According to police, the driver continued moving, struck her, and dragged her several meters while she held onto the car, resulting in minor injuries. The suspect was arrested, taken for questioning, and his vehicle was impounded. Police stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
