Israeli Man Detained After Recording and Running Over Woman and Teen in Gush Etzion
Israeli police reported an unusual incident on Friday near Gush Etzion Junction, at Havat Tomer. A 90-year-old Israeli man was detained after allegedly hitting a woman and a teenage boy with his vehicle. The man had arrived at the site and began filming with a camera. A verbal confrontation then occurred between him and a local teenager. Subsequently, the man got into his car and drove off, striking the teen, who did not require medical treatment.
Following this, a local woman approached the vehicle to question the man's behavior. The driver continued moving, dragging the woman for several meters while she held onto the car, causing her minor injuries. The suspect was taken to the Etzion police station for further investigation, and his vehicle was impounded. The police are examining the circumstances surrounding the case.
