Pregnant Woman Dies in Head-On Crash in Ashdod, Baby Delivered in Critical Condition
A tragic accident occurred in Ashdod on Wednesday morning when a pregnant woman was killed in a head-on collision between two vehicles. The 35-year-old woman, in an advanced stage of pregnancy, was critically injured with multiple traumas and rushed to Assuta Ashdod Hospital. Medical teams immediately performed an emergency cesarean section to deliver the baby girl, who was resuscitated and transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit in critical condition.
Despite prolonged efforts by hospital staff, the mother succumbed to her injuries. The hospital expressed deep condolences to the family during this difficult time.
