Hapoel Tel Aviv Signs EuroLeague Forward-Center Zack LeDay for Two Seasons
Hapoel Tel Aviv has announced the signing of American forward-center Zack LeDay on a two-year contract through the 2027/28 season. LeDay, 32, who stands 2.02 meters tall, joins the Israeli club from Olimpia Milano after two successful seasons in Italy. He is regarded as one of the top frontcourt players in European basketball, averaging 13.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.5 steals per game in the EuroLeague, with shooting percentages of 51.4% on two-pointers and 49.5% from beyond the arc.
LeDay began his college career at the University of South Florida before transferring to Virginia Tech. He started his professional career in Israel with Hapoel Gilboa/Galil and then built an impressive European resume with stints at Olympiacos, Žalgiris Kaunas, Milano, and Partizan Belgrade. Upon signing, LeDay expressed excitement and gratitude for joining Hapoel Tel Aviv, praising the club's ambition and the passionate fanbase.
