Zach LeDay Signs Two-Year Deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball Team

Zach LeDay, a 32-year-old forward standing 2.02 meters tall, has signed a two-year contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv. LeDay, who began his European career with Hapoel Gilboa/Galil in the 2017/18 season, has since developed into a leading EuroLeague player. He will earn approximately $5 million over the two years with Hapoel Tel Aviv.

LeDay joins teammates Tai Odiase and Dan Otero, who already have contracts for the upcoming season. Jonathan Motley also holds a contract with the club, but Hapoel Tel Aviv plans to release him and find another team to take over his contract.

In the recent EuroLeague season with Milano, LeDay averaged 13.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game, while in the Italian league he posted 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game.

LeDay is the 11th foreign player signed by Hapoel Tel Aviv for the next season. Other foreign players under contract include Tyler Ennis, Vasa Micić, Antonio Blakeney, Elijah Bryant, Colin Malcolm, Amir Coffey, and Ish Wainright. The club is expected to sign Tomas Satoransky and aims to find a new team for Motley to maintain the foreign player limit. If another guard is added alongside Satoransky and Micić, Tyler Ennis may be asked to leave.
