Israeli Border Police Officer Throws Shock Grenade Into Palestinian Vehicle in Qalandiya

A video released on social media on Monday night shows an Israeli Border Police officer confronting a Palestinian man inside his vehicle during an operation in Qalandiya. The footage captures the officer verbally abusing the Palestinian and then apparently throwing a stun grenade into the vehicle. The officer subsequently closes the car door, preventing the man from exiting. Two other Palestinians inside the car manage to escape. Although the video was recorded about a month ago, it only surfaced recently and has sparked widespread reactions globally. One social media user described the incident as "demonic" and noted reports that one of the children in the vehicle suffered permanent blindness as a result.
