Israeli Border Police Officer Under Investigation for Throwing Stun Grenade into Vehicle in Qalandiya

The Police Investigations Department (Mahash) has launched an inquiry into an incident involving an Israeli Border Police officer who was recorded throwing a stun grenade into a vehicle during an operation in the Qalandiya area. The footage, released on Monday, shows the officer approaching the vehicle and verbally confronting its occupants. At one point, he throws a stun grenade inside the car while simultaneously applying pressure on the driver's door, apparently preventing the driver from exiting until after the grenade detonates. The investigation aims to examine the circumstances surrounding the use of force against the passengers in the vehicle during the security operation.
