Israeli Injured in Stone-Throwing Incident at Eli Gas Station, Palestinian Driver Detained
The Israeli military reported that soldiers recently responded to an incident at the Eli gas station in the Samaria Division. A group of Israeli civilians had gathered there, blocking Palestinian vehicles and throwing stones at them. During the stone-throwing, a Palestinian vehicle reportedly lost control and struck an Israeli civilian, who was subsequently taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The Palestinian driver was detained on-site by Judea and Samaria district police officers. The circumstances of the event are still under investigation. The military emphasized that this was not a terrorist attack.
