Former Gaza Captives Sapir Cohen and Sasha Tropnov Marry After Years Apart
Sapir Cohen and Sasha Tropnov, who were both held captive in Gaza, married on Sunday after nearly four years together. The couple was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz; Cohen was released after 55 days, while Tropnov remained captive for 498 days. Since her release, Cohen actively campaigned for Tropnov's freedom. Their wedding took place in Or Yehuda and was attended by fellow former captives and activists from the Hostages Families Headquarters, including Eitan Horn, Ariel Koniu, and Arbel Yehud, who were also abducted to Gaza on October 7. Tropnov, 31, proposed to Cohen last July following his return from captivity. The event was shared on social media under copyright law section 27a.
