Hostage survivors Sasha Tropnov and Sapir Cohen married one year after their engagement in a ceremony attended by fellow survivors including Arbel Yahud, Ariel Konyo, Shani Goren, Moran Stella Yanai, Rom Breslavski, Eitan Horen, and Daniel Aloni. Israeli President Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal were present, with Herzog sharing at the wedding that he had previously vowed not to attend any weddings until all hostages had returned safely. Also attending was retired Major General Nitzan Alon, former head of the Hostage Affairs Directorate.
